Traditional Concert “Home for the Holidays”, First Edition, 2023

“Home for the Holidays” is a unique event, a special opportunity to present Romania in its truest form to the national audience, on the occasion of the winter holidays.

For the first time, Byzantine and traditional carols, as well as symphonic pop music, will be performed on the same stage, offering the audience the opportunity to enter a sacred world, full of emotion and meaning for all those eager to enjoy themselves in a unique way during the holiday season. Renowned Romanian artists will be present, such as Grigore Leșe, Vlad Miriță, Alexandra Crișan, the Acapella Vocal Group, conductor George Miron and the well-known religious music performer Maria Coman.

The accompaniment will be provided by the Bucharest Pop Orchestra, conducted by maestros Andrei Tudor and Ionel Tudor. The event will be hosted by Fr. Vasile Ioana, a true spokesman for the Christian word, as well as one of the renowned personalities of Romanian radio, Liana Stanciu.

The event will take place at the Romanian Athenaeum, one of the most prestigious concert halls in Bucharest.
